- California State Senator Dave Cortese: As a member of the Santa Clara Board of Supervisors, Cortese shepherded the Young Adults Transitioning Out of Foster Care pilot through passage. Now, as a CA Senator, he is working on a statewide pilot targeting transitioning foster youth: CA SB 739.
