Rob Kenner: The Marathon Don't Stop - The Life & Times of Nipsey Hussle

By TPLCulture

Founding editor of legendary Hip-Hop magazine Vibe, and prolific Hip-Hop journalist Rob Kenner closely followed the career of Nipsey Hussle as he built a small but powerful empire dedicated to Black excellence and activism. Fatally shot outside his clothing store in 2019, Hussle's murder was immediately seen as a major loss in the world of Hip-Hop, but more importantly, his community mourned an emerging leader who had more impact than the world can ever understand. Combining on-the-ground reporting and candid interviews with Hussle’s friends, family, and peers, Rob Kenner delivers a marvelous account of the life and work of an extraordinary artist, placing him in historical context and unpacking his complex legacy. Join Rob Kenner as he sits with Del F. Cowie for an in-conversation event dedicated to his new book The Marathon Don't Stop - The Life & Times of Nipsey Hussle.
