Red Erotic: Indigenous Erotica Panel

By TPLCulture

Indigenous Peoples have a long and rich history of defining and exploring sexualities and genders that challenge colonial heteronormative narratives. Modern day Indigenous erotica warriors are continuing this tradition through subversive works that redefine & re-imagine sexual freedoms, gender norms and other settler concepts that centre sin and shame.
In this special panel conversation, four leading Indigenous authors and academics are invited to explore the genre of Indigenous erotica and other expressions of Indigenous sexuality, kinship, desire, sensuality and the work being done to empower Indigenization through emotional, spiritual and physical expressions of love.
