Adam Bunch: The Toronto Book of Love
By TPLCulture
Adam Bunch talks about his latest book The Toronto Book of Love. Recounting Toronto’s alluring history by telling the city’s most passionate, steamy, romantic and heartbreaking stories, Bunch lets us in on the legends that are woven into the very fabric of our city, and shape our past. Animating Toronto with true accounts of scandalous love affairs, ancient First Nations wedding ceremonies, and a prime minister’s wife partying with rock stars, Bunch gives us a glimpse in to how flirtations, lovers’ quarrels and real-life romance can shape a metropolis.
Adam Bunch is the author of The Toronto Book of Love and The Toronto Book of the Dead, host of the Canadiana documentary series, and creator of The Toronto Dreams Project. His work popularizing the history of the city has earned an honourable mention for a Governor General’s History Award.
Bunch appears in conversation with co-host of The Social, Jessica Allen.
