Tabetha Sheppard is a geologist and planetary scientist with a passion for Science Communication. She spends her workdays creating and delivering educational STEM programs to inspire the next generation of scientists. She is also a strong advocate for the development of bilingual STEM resources and the improvement of outreach program access to official language minority communities. When she isn't sharing her passion for Space with the world, Tabetha spends her free time hiking, playing Zelda, and cuddling her cat AJ.
Aaron Maxwell currently works as a Data Scientist for a small startup in the aerospace industry. His work focuses on using machine learning and artificial intelligence to change the way aviation pilots train in flight simulators. He received his PhD in astrophysics from McMaster University. An avid science communicator, Aaron was a volunteer for Let's Talk Science during his graduate studies, bringing hands-on science activities to local schools. He is a volunteer instructor for Canada Learning Code, where he leads workshops on several programming languages. He has also been a Host for the Ontario Science Centre, and on the television show Blynk & Aazoo.
Canadian Comedy recipient Briane Nasimok has had an eclectic career in the arts. His resume includes, non-singing opera performer, the theme of his first Fringe Show, "Confessions of an Operatic Mute"; stand-up comedian; improviser; minor Canadian film star; television writer and producer with credits ranging from Canadian Sesame Street to the Gemini Awards. He is the co-producer/co-host of the monthly But That's Another Story, which will bring a special "Festival Favourites" to the Toronto Digital Fringe in July and his new storytelling show :Now Where Was I" is playing at the Ottawa Fringe Festival until June 27th. brianenasimok.com
