Attracting and retaining talent in the post-Covid HE workplace
By The PIE
The coronavirus pandemic was seismic in its implications for employers and employees alike. Remote working became feasible overnight, and had to be adopted, revealing unforeseen benefits. New staff were hired and on-boarded without ever coming to an office.
Then came the Great Resignation, and now employers have to assimilate all the learnings about best practice that are issuing from the juxtaposition of fully in-person and fully remote working.
In this webinar, we will be exploring the future of work. Will it be hybrid? What’s best for productivity. What do employees want now, and what’s best to create a sense of belonging?
These are all crucial questions for universities, both as employers and as teaching institutions preparing students for employment in todays’ global workplace. We will examine what universities need to do to attract and retain talent, as well as how they need to double down on employability as a key focus of their delivery to students.
