There can be few sports in the world currently turning heads like padel. In fact, it is widely considered the world’s fastest-growing sport, with this dynamic racket sport captivating large numbers of people in the Middle East, Continental Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, South Africa and many other nations. However, with increased exposure comes increased interest in the business and commercial development of the sport from a wide range of stakeholders.
In this webinar, hosted by Ben Nichols, founder of Padel 22, we'll speak to leading names from a range of business angles, including the club and court sector, media rights, brand and sponsor and also player perspective:

Speaker bios:
Nikhil Mohindra: Having first found Padel at his local leisure club, Nikhil instantly took a liking to the sport. Fast forward to age 17, having left school to work in the family business, Nikhil once again stumbled across Padel and began to play on more frequently. He began travelling to Spain to train with professional coaches and former World No.1s and by the age of 20 he made his debut in representing Great Britain at the European Championships in Marbella. Since then, he has represented Team GB on three occasions, most recently at the FIP World Padel Championships in Dubai in November, where Britain finished a respectable 14th. At the end of 2022, Nikhil took the step to move to Alicante to improve his game to the highest possible level and start to compete on the professional tour.
Mike Emery: Mike is the CEO of Joymo.tv, a Norwegian company that provides sports rights holders with an innovative and affordable video streaming solution and enables partners to broadcasting their valuable content direct-to-fans and connect their events with a global audience.
Kristina Clement: Kristina is the Export Manager for Padel brand NOX. She was previously a NOX agent in France before assuming her current position in 2018. Previously a padel player, she reached No.5 in France in 2019 and No.189 on the World Padel Tour in 2019. Kristina participated in 5 World Padel Championships (3 with France and 2 with Germany, including most recently in Dubai in November where the country finished in 8th position. She is a also a qualified Padel Coach and having worked in Monaco and Birmingham, she coached British No.1 female player, Tia Norton.
Santiago Gomez: Santiago Gomez was born and raised in Mexico City and studied Economics and Business Management at Universidad Iberoamericana and Harvard University. A former Investment Banker for UBS, Santiago co-founded New York City’s leading restaurants, Cosme and ATLA which went on to earn multiple awards and make it to recognized lists such as San Pellegrino’s World’s 50 Best and New York’s restaurant of the year by The New York Times. As a padel player of 20-plus years, Santiago had the inspiration during the global pandemic to leave and sell his restaurant business and launch Padel Haus – New York City’s first and only padel club; with multiple projects in the pipeline to expand padel in the US.
