The Impact of Sewage in Vancouver

By Swim Drink Fish Canada

This is the first in the Swim Drink Fish series taking a look at how sewage is impacting our waters across Canada.
In 2017 alone, 39,060,422 cubic metres of untreated sewage entered regional waterbodies in Metro Vancouver. With Fraser Riverkeeper we’ll explore the impact of sewage and combined sewer overflows (CSOs) in Vancouver and False Creek, the future of wastewater treatment in Metro Vancouver, and why we monitor water quality in False Creek year-round.
Join us to learn more about the challenges facing False Creek and what you can do to help.
