From Pittsburgh to Beirut (two chances to watch: 12PM ET and 7PM ET)
By City of Asylum
Join us for a Pittsburgh-meets-Beirut event that not only brings these two fated cities together, but is also a celebration of music, literature, and paper.
This program features Rusted Radishes, the Literary & Arts Journal of Beirut, as well as Pittsburgh partners RealTime Interventions. Organized to support Rusted Radishes and spotlight RealTime Intervention’s upcoming virtual show The Birth of Paper (posttheatrical.org/the-birth-of-paper), a piece performed live from Beirut centering on the mutual transmission of goods and goodwill between our two cities.
Featuring readings, spells, melodies, literature, and paper arts, this is an evening not to be missed.
Artists and performances from Pittsburgh and Beirut, including Celeste Gainey, Crystal Woodling, Nur Turkmani, Patricia Ward, Milia Ayache, and Rima Rantisi.
There are two showings of the same reading - one at 12PM Eastern Time and one at 7PM Eastern Time. If you are on this page, you will be able to access either showing.
