Red Hat OpenShift 101 continued: Hybrid Cloud with Kubernetes, Logging and Databases

By IBM Developer

In our last workshop, we learned the differences between the Kubernetes orchestration system and Red Hat OpenShift, the Kubernetes platform for Enterprise.
In this workshop, we'll cover:
🎓 What will you learn?
  • A brief refresher on what Kubernetes is used for and the key benefits of Red Hat OpenShift
  • Adding logging and monitoring to an application deployed on Red Hat OpenShift
  • Building a hybrid cloud application with external services
We'll conclude with an interactive lab where we'll assign you a Red Hat OpenShift cluster and allow you to deploy a service onto it.
👩‍💻 Who should attend?
Developers and those interested in DevOps, IT, containers and application deployment.
