Poetry Reading featuring Syd Staiti, author of Seldom Approaches (The Elephants, 2023), and Camille Roy, author of Honey Mine (Nightboat, 2021)
Syd Staiti is the author of Seldom Approaches (The Elephants, 2023) and The Undying Present (Krupskaya, 2015). Recent work is published in Baest, Tripwire, Social Text, and A Perfect Vacuum. Staiti is the director of Small Press Traffic and a collective member of Light Field.
Camille Roy is a writer of fiction, poetry, and plays. Her fiction collection Honey Mine was published by Nightboat in 2021. Previous books include Sherwood Forest, from Futurepoem, and Cheap Speech, a play from Leroy Chapbooks, as well as Swarm (fiction, from Black Star Series). She co-edited Biting the Error: Writers Explore Narrative (Coach House 2005, re-issued 2010). Earlier books include The Rosy Medallions (poetry and prose, from Kelsey St. Press) and Cold Heaven (plays, from Leslie Scalapino’s O Books).
