Fabulous Flaky Pie Crust Made Easy

📷Whether you are new to pie making or a seasoned baker, you’ll learn loads of hints and tricks in this hour-long class for how to make a best-ever pie crust that will have your friends and family raving!
We’ll show you step-by-step instructions to make and roll out a tender, flaky, all-butter pie crust, then blind-bake it. We’ll also talk about ingredients and recommend supplies and kitchen gear. And we'll tell you the pie-making secrets no one ever talks about!
Please note that we are just covering pie crust in this class, and will not be talking about fillings (come back to a later class for that).
About the teachers:đź“·The class will be taught by mother-daughter team Barbara Swell and Annie Erbsen. Barbara is the author of the best-selling cookbook The Lost Art of Pie Making Made Easy, which has sold about 500,000 copies. She's been teaching pie-making classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School and at Log Cabin Cooking for 20 years. Annie works as a cookbook editor, teaches cooking classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School, and worked as a pastry chef in Ireland.
HOW THE CLASS WORKS: The class is online, but *not* via Zoom. You’ll be able to see and hear us, but we won't be able to see or hear you (so stay in those comfy sweatpants if you wish). The class will last about an hour, and we encourage you to ask questions and share comments in the chat section. You'll also be able to download class materials, and you can replay the video as much as you want afterwards (it'll be up for at least a month).

You are welcome to follow along and bake with us as we go. However, the class is structured so you can watch it live, then bake later. You can replay the video as many times as you want after the broadcast for the rest of the month.
