People's Bailout NOW: We Demand A Just Recovery

It's time. This is the moment to save lives and to boldly chart a path towards a more equitable future through a just recovery from COVID.
Join the #PeoplesBailout Rally at 7pm EST on Tuesday December 8th with Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D, NY-7), special musical guest Meah Pace and grassroots leaders from around the country . Be ready to make some noise!
More than 1,000 grassroots organizations have joined forces to support the People's Bailout, and its five principles of COVID relief:
Health is the top priority, for all people, with no exceptions
Economic relief must be provided directly to the people
Rescue workers and communities, not corporate executives
Make a down payment on a regenerative economy while preventing future crises
Protect our democratic process while protecting each other
Join People's Action, Care in Action, the Center for Popular Democracy, Indivisible, It Takes Roots,  Movement for Black Lives, Sierra Club and Working Families Party and some very special guests as we tell our stories, and unite our individual fights into a shared struggle.
We demand that our elected officials pass a People's Bailout that centers people and planet over profits and corporations.
