All five finalists will pitch live for our panel of venture capitalist judges followed by Q&A from the judges and audience alike, but only one will leave with a $100,000 Outlander VC investment.

Meet the VC judges deciding which pitch will win a $100,000 investment from Outlander VC!
Ali Hamed x CoVenture + Crossbeam VC
Ali is a Co-Founder and Partner at CoVenture. Ali also sits on the Investment Committee of CoVenture's Credit Fund and Crossbeam Venture Partners, an early-stage firm backing seed and series A startups.
Prior to CoVenture, Ali was a Venture Partner at Compound where he helped source many of the firm’s successful investments. Ali attended Cornell University where he played varsity baseball.
Lucy Guo x Backend Capital
Lucy Guo is the former co-founder of Scale AI ($7.3B), which accelerates its customers' AI development by democratizing access to intelligent data (companies using Scale include Lyft, Cruise, and nuTonomy). Scale AI became worth over 1 billion in just 3 years, becoming one of Silicon Valley’s unicorns. Now, she invests from her venture fund Backend Capital.
Before Backend Capital and Scale, she was the first female product designer at Snap. She is a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient and Thiel Fellow. In her spare time, she’s created multiple apps that have reached over 10 million people worldwide.
Leura Craig x Outlander VC
Leura is an interior designer turned entrepreneur. After working for years as a senior designer, she set out to democratize the industry by establishing a better way for clients and designers to work together digitally. Laurel & Wolf was born in late 2014 and helped thousands of people bring their design dreams to life. Leura raised $30M from top venture capital firms such as Benchmark and CRV.
Leura was named Forbes 30 Under 30 for Retail & eCommerce and was also awarded Goldman Sachs Builders + Innovators 100 “Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs."
