Lincoln Michel & Kim Stanley Robinson: Q&A and Conversation
By Orbit LIVE!
Join science fiction authors Lincoln Michel and Kim Stanley Robinson for a conversation about their books, capitalism and climate change, and the future of New York City. Plus, they'll be answering your questions throughout the event.
Lincoln Michel [he/him] is the author of the acclaimed short fiction collection Upright Beasts and the debut novel The Body Scout, out from Orbit in September. Diamond-sharp and savagely wry, The Body Scout is a timely science fiction thriller debut set in an all-too-possible future, perfect for readers of William Gibson, which Jonathan Lethem "devoured."
Kim Stanley Robinson [he/him] is a legendary author of more than 20 works of science fiction, including the bestselling Mars Trilogy and the critically-acclaimed New York 2140, 2312, and Red Moon. In 2008, he was named a "Hero of the Environment" by Time magazine, and he works with the Sierra Nevada Research Institute. His latest novel is The Ministry for the Future, out in trade paperback from Orbit in October.
