ABOUT LORI
Lori Barr is the founder of Empathic Communications, specializing in workplace mental health training, trauma-informed coaching and consulting services. Combining her background in the corporate sector and clinical mental health, Lori serves organizations and individuals in helping build skills and systems to create mentally healthy workplaces and lives.
Her work is experiential in nature and is designed to engage each individual and build communication and interpersonal skills. She is passionate about helping people develop and elevate self-awareness, empathy, and resiliency in both professional and personal lives and help organizations provide exceptional service and lead with intention.
Lori holds a Masters Degree in Counselor Education, is a certified mediator and a national instructor for Mental Health First Aid. She has worked in the field for over 10 years, with experience providing individual and group coaching, trauma and crisis education and develops and delivers trainings and workshops to domestic and global audiences.
