Enterprise messaging on the Raspberry Pi with IBM MQ
By IBM Developer
Messaging is part of everyday life and is critical to how stuff gets done. As human beings, we are constantly sending, receiving and processing information, without even thinking about it! In the same way, we need our software to be able to communicate with us and with other parts of our infrastructure - whether that software powers a home IoT project, or the biggest enterprises in the world.
Earlier this year, the IBM MQ team released an (entirely free!) developer edition of IBM MQ, an enterprise messaging solution, for Raspberry Pi OS. In this interactive session, we’d love to show you how it works!
🚀 What will you learn
In this workshop developers will learn:
- The basics of enterprise messaging
- A little about IoT
- How to install and use IBM MQ on the Raspberry Pi
We’ll also get hands-on with Raspberry Pi and IBM MQ, show some live demos and conclude by inviting you to earn a badge to display on your LinkedIn profile.
💙 Who should attend?
- Developers!
- Those interested in messaging, IoT and Raspberry Pi
- Anyone who wants to learn something new!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a Raspberry Pi, there’s a lot we think you’ll find interesting and perhaps it will inspire you to get a Pi in the future!
