Hudson Lin: Going Public
By TPL Programs
Going Public (Carina Press) is the latest novel from breakout queer romance author Hudson Lin and the newest installment in her Jade Harbor Capital series.
As an operating partner at Jade Harbour and resident fixer, Raymond Chao handles the biggest corporate disasters, no matter the cost. However, his latest assignment has landed him in trouble with the law. Even his brilliant assistant, Elvin Goh, can't see a way out. Long nights in the office lead to whispered confessions and newfound intimacy, but with failure on the horizon, can this dream team beat the odds and come out the victors in the office and in their hearts?
Hudson Lin grew up straddling two cultures with often conflicting perspectives on life. Instead of conforming to either, she has sought to bring together the positive elements of both, writing stories about outsiders who fight to carve out their place in society and overcome everyday challenges to find love and happily ever afters.
Lin appears in conversation with Toronto Public Library to discuss her work, upcoming projects, and the importance of diverse stories and voices in the queer romance genre. An audience Q&A session will follow.
