"Hacking the Future of Risk Management" - Super Cyber Friday

Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking the Future of Risk Management: An hour of critical discussion on how we need to evolve our measurement and reduction of risk.”
Joining David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:

In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
- How have we created a baseline risk? How do we assess? What’s working and what needs to change?
- Are third parties our biggest vulnerability? Or are they just the biggest vulnerability we can’t directly control?
- Most security teams feel they’re measuring enough. Why is that not enough? What’s missing?
- How have we created a false sense of security with past risk management efforts?
- How do we get a deeper understanding of the context of risk? If a failure happens how can we track where, who, and what will be affected?
- The industry is shifting from stopping all attacks to one of resilience. How has that affected the expectation of the CISO as a risk manager?
- How can we see risk reduction with our security controls?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.
