Buildings play a crucial role in sustainability and our wellbeing. Commercial buildings account for the largest share of carbon emissions from the built environment, which is up to 20% of New Zealand’s gross emissions on a life cycle basis. This seminar will look at Precinct’s pathway towards sustainability in the commercial building sector, the development of higher standards and different forms of certification.
