Gateway to Gains (replay available!)
By Shannon McKenna Aerial
Learn the formula to make targeted strength and mobility gains as a an aerialist-
NO EQUIPMENT REQUIRED!
Look, we see you:
You pull on your leggings, hype yourself up in the car with a little Taylor Swift, and drive to your aerial studio for class. But even though you show up and stay consistent, you still don't feel like you're getting stronger and you're not quite where you want to be skill-wise.
-OR-
Maybe you're in place (either physically or metaphorically) where you can't access your apparatus consistently. When you do get in the air, it feels like a struggle just to maintain your physical level.
If either (or both) of these scenarios sound familiar, then you might need to include some cross training in your life. Cross training is a workout that you can do at home with no aerial equipment that supports your work in the air- usually done with a combination of weights and therabands.
However, not all cross training is created equal. You could spend hours on Instagram, Google, and YouTube, trying to gather weightlifting and mobility exercises that may or may not be helpful as part of a greater program. Without vital information about targeting the right muscles and movement patterns, you waste a lot of time and energy and ultimately may wind up with something that don't even work.
And that's where this workshop comes in...
I've teamed up with certified strength and mobility coach, Britta Remes, to offer you a workshop to solve your upper body strength woes- no aerial equipment required.
In this workshop, Britta will show you her exact formula for exercise selection. We'll give you a precise and effective training plan specifically for upper body strength and mobility that gets results without wasting time.
But we're not just going to give your the plan and send you on your way. No. We love you far too much for that.
In this workshop, Britta is going to guide you through the creme-de-la-creme of shoulder and upper back exercises for aerialists, with Shannon as her exercise "dummy" to show common mistakes and correct any bad habits BEFORE you develop them.
Get ready for ugly training faces, brain gains, and a big exhale when you feel more confident organizing your training for upper body!
