We are happy to be part of the Foojay Virtual JUG Tour!  Please welcome Sven Ruppert, developer advocate at JFrog, who will present "Functional Reactive with Core JDK."
Abstract:
There are a lot of reactive frameworks in the field, some with functional languages for the JVM. However, Java gives you both. But how you could combine this and use this without adding the next big framework to your project?
We will have a Core Java journey to explore a lot of excellent possibilities based on the JDK.
Bio:
Sven Ruppert is a Developer Advocate for JFrog.  He has been coding Java since 1996 in industrial projects, is working as Developer Advocate for JFrog and Groundbreaker Ambassador (former Oracle Developer Champion). Sven regularly speaking at Conferences worldwide and contributes to IT periodicals, as well as tech portals.  He was working for over 15 years as a consultant worldwide in industries like Automotive, Space, Insurance, Banking, UN, and WorldBank. Additional to his main topic DevSecOps he is working on Mutation Testing of Web apps and Distributed UnitTesting besides his evergreen topics Core Java and Kotlin.
