Demystifying the Green Homes Grants scheme with Panasonic

By Installer & elemental

With the planned phaseout of fossil fuel gas boilers in 2025, an air source heat pump is the wisest energy saving improvement a homeowner can make right now for heating and the provision of domestic hot water.
However, the investment level required for homeowners to benefit from this sustainable energy solution, often means that projects are delayed – especially during current times of uncertainty. However, there are schemes currently running – and being launched – that can help qualifying homeowners to access financial incentives to help with such green energy projects.
That being said, there is a lot of confusion as to what technology is most suitable, and what energy saving solutions homeowners should be considering.
The government's Green Homes Grant is a good example – it isn’t easy to understand what homeowners need to do first – for example, should a home be properly insulated first – can you replace an existing heat pump and what other schemes are out there?
This webinar seeks to help installers get clear information about what they can recommend to their customers.
We will also look at Panasonic’s recently launched Green Install Cashback Scheme.
Under this new scheme, which takes effect from 1 October 2020, qualifying installers can claim cashback of £800* – after the successful installation of five Panasonic Aquarea A2W heat pumps with a Smart Cloud Controller. In a concurrent promotion, homeowners replacing oil-fired, LPG, electric or mains gas boilers will be able to claim up to £600 via the Green Homes Cashback Scheme* (conditions apply).
