Majdy Fares is a Palestinian-American who currently lives in Arlington, VA. He is a comedian, a storyeller, and a bargain hunter. When he's not writing or performing, Majdy enjoys long walks with his wife and smelling candles at TJ Maxx.
Dr. Marisa G Franco (she/her/hers) is a former professor and a psychologist who has studied connection internationally through a grant from the National Institute of Health. She writes about connection for Psychology Today and has been a featured expert for major publications like The New York Times, The Telegraph, and Vice. She is currently writing a book on how to make friends as an adult, Platonic.
Hailing from a third-generation coal mining family in West Virginia, and with more than ten years of experience in climate and energy issues, Jeremy Richardson focuses on federal climate and energy policy development, specializing in the economics of energy—particularly coal and nuclear power—and writes and speaks passionately about the need for a just transition for the coalfields.
