Michael Geist: What You Need to Know About the Covid Alert App

Michael Geist, a law professor at the University of Ottawa and the Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce Law will present a talk on the Covid Alert App, highlighting how it was created, how it can help alert Canadians about potential exposures to the COVID-19 virus, and how it safeguards user privacy and security. The app has been downloaded more than five million times and Professor Geist will let us know how the app may help to take care of ourselves as well as protected everyone around us.
