About Ben Perszyk:
Ben leads strategic and operational support for Polychain’s portfolio companies, working closely with our founders to help scale early-stage crypto businesses and launch new protocols. He provides pre-seed stage mentorship for Polychain Genesis companies and manages investment pipelines for two of Polychain’s ecosystem funds. Outside of crypto, Ben’s passions include political philosophy, motorcycles, and electronic music.
About Ian Lee:
Ian Lee is the Managing Director of IDEO CoLab Ventures, a fund backed by IDEO that invests in and helps incubate early-stage crypto startups. Prior to IDEO, he was a Director at Citi Ventures, Citigroup's venture capital, and venturing arm, where he led Citi's network of R&D Labs, an early-stage R&D fund, and blockchain across the enterprise from 2014-2017.
About Arianna Simpson:
Arianna Simpson is a partner on the a16z crypto investment team. Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Arianna founded Autonomous Partners, an investment fund focused on cryptocurrencies and digital assets. She also helped launch Crystal Towers Capital, an early-stage fund investing primarily in YC companies, in 2015. Arianna previously spent time working in sales and product roles at Facebook and BitGo, an enterprise security company for bitcoin and other digital currencies.
About Xochitl Cazador (moderator):
Xochitl Cazador is a partner at cLabs where she leads Ecosystem. Prior to joining cLabs, Xochitl was an executive at a Fortune 500 company where she led the expansion into 26 emerging markets. As the daughter and granddaughter of Mexican Migrant farmworkers, she’s seen firsthand how access to basic financial systems can change lives. She holds a Master’s from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
