Books of Wonder is thrilled to have authors SAMIRA AHMED, SAADIA FARUQI, VEERA HIRANANDANI, UMA KRISHNAWAMI, and PADMA VENKATRAMA joining us to discuss their books and the diversity and joy of South Asian voices in middle grade writing. Their books - Amira & Hamza: the War to Save the Worlds, Yusuf Azeem is Not a Hero, How to Find What You’re Not Looking For, Threads of Peace, and Born Behind Bars - are heartfelt, important, and beautifully written stories, and we're lucky to have so many incredible authors coming together in one space.
