The TokBox "Building With OpenTok" webinar series provides a hands-on developer-focused guide on how to build applications with the OpenTok Live Video APIs and tools. These short 30-40 minute sessions will be practical and recorded for future reference, with all source code used available on GitHub.
Building with OpenTok is hosted by TokBox Developer Evangelist, Manik Sachdeva. Throughout the series, Manik will build video chat applications on various platforms using different tools and APIs. This will include simple HTML Video Chat Embeds, JavaScript apps, native iOS and Android apps, apps using frameworks including Electron, Cordova, React Native and others, as well a look at useful OpenTok services like recording/archiving, broadcasting and SIP.
This is our first webinar in this series on Video Chat Embeds, which are the easiest way to quickly add basic OpenTok functionality to a website by cutting and pasting an embeddable HTML snippet. Manik’s agenda includes:
Setting up Video Chat Embeds through the Dashboard
Adding Embeds to a website, including with WIX and other website builders
Functionality of Embeds
Suggested use-cases for Embeds
Comparison with using the full OpenTok API (which will be covered in later episodes).
