BOOM Jam Puppet Slam is a collaborative puppet karaoke performance from Dave English and DS Kinsel. It's a unique way to perform your favorite tunes or explore new music with friends and family. You can submit a karaoke video (Learn how to submit karaoke videos here) or you can tune in to enjoy the karaoke and have some fun!
Don’t have a great voice? Not sure about Karaoke? Curious about the wonderful world of puppets? Need a place to express yourself? Puppet Karaoke provides the place for performers across experience to have a rocking hip hop rolling good time.
This fall, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, BOOM Concepts’ Puppet Karaoke and University of Pittsburgh SCREENSHOP: ASIA collaborate to bring you an interactive puppet experience that invites families to participate in free online puppet-making workshops and be a part of the virtual event: BOOM Jam Puppet Slam! This puppet focused adventure is in conjunction with a current exhibit trapped in the Children’s Museum’s Art Studio, Puppets: A Beautiful Fantasy. This exhibit is inspired by puppets from the Children's Museum's Margo Lovelace Collection and the rich puppet history of Pittsburgh and the world. Full lineup of activities can be found here: museumlab.org/events
