Join Tucson Festival of Books for this exclusive discussion with authors Gary Nabhan and Francisco Cantú moderated by Savannah Hicks. They will discuss "The Nature of Desert Nature" and challenge traditional notions of the desert.
Gary Paul Nabhan is the Kellogg Endowed Chair at the University of Arizona’s Southwest Center. He is the author or editor of more than thirty books, including "The Nature of Desert Nature." Honored with a MacArthur “Genius” Award, a Lannan Literary Fellowship, the John Burroughs Medal for nature writing, and other awards,
Francisco Cantú, a former agent for the US Border Patrol, is a former Fulbright fellow, as well a contributor to NYT and This American Life. His most recent work is "The Line Becomes a River."
