“Women On Wednesdays”: Ali Vitali - “Electable: Why America Hasn't Put a Woman in the White House . . . Yet”
By au_wpi
As part of our “Women on Wednesdays” series, please join the Women & Politics Institute for a virtual conversation with NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent Ali Vitali, author of the new book Electable: Why America Hasn't Put a Woman in the White House . . . Yet and WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin. Details and registration here
Ali Vitali, who covered the 2020 presidential campaign trail as an MSNBC “Road Warrior,” will discuss her new book Electable, which does a deep dive into the 2020 Presidential election and “the gendered double standards placed on women presidential candidates of that cycle” as well as those who came before them. Join the discussion to hear about the challenges women in particular face when running for president and what Vitali thinks will be necessary to finally shatter one of the biggest glass ceilings.
