Meet the Presenters:
Mickayla Zinsli Rosard has worked in private equity and financial services for 10 years and has overseen the procurement of $138 million of investment into the upper Midwest. Mickayla served on IIUSA’s Public Policy Committee from 2016-2018 and co-founded the Rural Alliance, which has grown into one of the top advocate groups in the EB-5 industry. She holds FINRA series 63 and 82 securities licenses. Mickayla has established a proven track record in fund monitoring, investor relations, and organizational management.
Sara Russick has 25 years of experience founding, building, investing in and managing companies from startup through exit. Sara is co-founder and general partner of Capita3, a venture capital firm investing in innovative healthcare companies founded by women. Sara is also co-founder of Gopher Angels. Since launching in 2012, Gopher Angels has become a collaborative leader in Midwest startup funding. Gopher Angels has recruited 100+ active members and has invested $20M+ into ~70 companies. Sara is also a multi-time founder who has leveraged a variety of financing sources to successfully grow her startups: bootstrapping, grants, angel investors, venture capital funds, strategic partners.
