Kaleidoscope Grove, Garden of the Imagination - Artist in the Library Leah Gold
By TPL Programs
Join Artist in the Library Leah Gold for a talk about her upcoming residency at Maria A. Shchuka Library. To launch her program series, Leah will give a talk and demonstrate Styrofoam block printing and instruct on how to draw fantastical creatures using colourful paint sticks. Participants will follow her guidance to create objects for a collaborative window installation, Kaleidoscope Grove, at Maria A. Shchuka branch this winter.
We all need a getaway right now- let's create our own imaginary paradise together.
Pick up your kit with free materials at Maria A. Shchuka branch starting on October 1. Kits are available on a first come first serve basis.
Artwork made by participants will be displayed along with Leah's work to create a giant paper garden in the windows of the library.
This program is part of the Artists in the Library series.
