The Worst Bestsellers Podcast LIVE with Meredith Goldstein at PSB: Boston Edition

By Porter Square Books

Porter Square Books: Boston Edition is thrilled to welcome Kait and Renata from The Worst Bestsellers podcast for a live recording of their 200th episode! Meredith Goldstein will join Kait and Renata to discuss Sarah J. Maas' House of Earth and Blood. This event will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 6 pm at Porter Square Books: Boston Edition (50 Liberty Dr. MA 02210).

Every other week, Worst Bestsellers' hosts Kait and Renata sit down with a guest for an in-depth discussion of a different book. Book picks cross genres and audiences, touching upon new releases, popular classics, and the zeigiesty titles that everyone seems to be talking about. Through their plot summary and discussion, they attempt to explain what works and doesn't work for them as they try to piece together what makes these titles so popular. While most of the books are chosen with the assumption that they won't be enjoyable, occasionally they like to pick a title representative of a genre to discuss the genre as a whole, and sometimes they even find themselves liking one of the books they were sure they would pan. They can be found at worstbestsellers.com.

ABOUT THE GUEST Meredith Goldstein is an author, journalist, and the longtime advice columnist at The Boston Globe. Her books include the YA novels Things That Grow and Chemistry Lessons; the angsty wedding novel The Singles; and the memoir Can’t Help Myself, based on her Love Letters column – which also has a popular podcast (now in its 9th season!). Meredith lives in Boston with a carnival-size cotton candy machine and many, many romance novels.
