Join Gentle Sleep CoachⓇ and researcher Macall Gordon, MA, and The Sleep LadyⓇ Kim West, MSW for a conversation about their new book, Why Won't You Sleep?!: A Game-Changing Approach for Exhausted Parents of Nonstop, Super Alert, Big Feeling Kids - a science-backed resource specifically for parents of intense, sensitive kids.

Macall and Kim are mothers of livewires themselves; they’ve been the exhausted, overwhelmed parents struggling to get their kids to sleep. In Why Won’t You Sleep?!, they discuss how temperament truly affects a child’s sleep pattern and offer tips for crafting your child’s bedtime routine, a step-by-step plan for getting your child to sleep, and self-care tips for tired parents. With some much-needed encouragement and a healthy dose of humor, Kim and Macall will help you and your little ones finally get a good night’s sleep.

In this FREE live virtual event about the new book, Macall and Kim will be taking questions and would love to talk about topics from the book like:

How temperament directly affects sleep (and parenting)

Reasons why popular sleep training options don’t work for fussy kids

Strategies that target the unique needs of more alert/intense children

An approach to sleep training that doesn’t involve the parent leaving their child to cry-it-out and works in a variety of family contexts (co-sleeping, room sharing, etc.)

How to set parents up for success by ruling out roadblocks and having a clear, detailed plan

How current sleep training research fails to consider temperament in studies on effectiveness

How this parenting path dramatically differs from parents of mellower kids and how parents can survive and thrive
