Who Owns the Internet?

Join us for an informative session on what exactly is the Internet. Toronto Mesh will give us an overview as well as including our familiar digital experiences. The lecture will present how your data moves through software services and hardware infrastructures of the Internet. You will also learn the power structures that exist and explore issues such as data privacy and digital justice.
This lecture is presented by Toronto Mesh, an organization that helps communities create better networks with open source and peer-to-peer technologies that promote digital literacy and privacy.
