What is a Smart City?

Technology is moving at a very fast rate. It is actively being used to make our cities run efficiently, use less energy and improve traffic congestion. This program will go over what it is like to live in a smart city. Join us to explore the underlying goals, functions and principles. The program will also dive into what open data and Internet of Things (IoT) and how they apply to living in a Smart City.
This program takes place during Privacy Awareness Week, a week that promotes awareness of privacy issues and the importance of the protection of personal information.
