Vite is fast by default, but performance issues can creep in as the project's requirements grow. Vite's on-demand model requires some changes to the way we maintain large code bases, but these can later on lead to better production code and not only improved DX.

In this session, we'll review with patak, core maintainer of Vite, how to identify and fix common performance issues, such as slow server starts and slow builds. We'll check together the loading time for apps with a large number of components and how you can ensure that it stays fast as it grows.

We'll also dive into the future, and how Vite is reinventing itself from the inside with Rolldown and Oxc to be a better fit for large Enterprise applications.
