Step Into the Virtual Essay Cabaret, Writers!
Kathy Kinney and Cindy Ratzlaff (aka The Queens) are back to host a fun, free open mic night for storytellers at 7 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Whether you're reading a short essay, a story or a work-in-progress (3 minutes or less), you'll find a warm, supportive audience of fellow Erma writers eager to cheer you on.
How to participate?
Simply fill out this form by Oct. 6 for a chance to be randomly selected to read during the event. It's a lottery, so everyone has an equal shot at sharing their words.
The vibe:
Casual, welcoming and filled with laughs.
The event is free for both readers and listeners, but registration is required. Just click “Save my spot!” to secure your place.
While the event is generously sponsored by The Queens, we invite you to consider a suggested donation of $25 to support the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop endowment fund. Donations are optional — what matters most is having you with us. (You may make a gift here.)
At the end of the evening we will raffle off one free registration to an upcoming virtual program.
