Virtual Essay Cabaret

Join Us for the Virtual Essay Cabaret, Writers!
Kathy Kinney and Cindy Ratzlaff (aka The Queens) are hosting a free open mic night for storytellers at 7 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 12 — and you're invited to share your words!
Whether you're reading a short essay, story, or work-in-progress (3 minutes or less), you'll find a supportive, encouraging audience of fellow Erma writers ready to cheer you on.
To participate, simply fill out this form by Feb. 1 for a chance to have your name drawn during the event. This is a random drawing, so everyone has an equal shot at being chosen to share.
The vibe: Casual, warm and full of fun!
While the event is free for both readers and listeners, registration is required. Just click on "Save my spot!" to sign up.
We are thrilled that The Queens are underwriting this event, but we also invite you to consider a suggested $25 donation to support the workshop’s endowment fund. Donations are completely optional — your presence is what matters most. (Make a gift here.)
At the end of the evening, we’ll draw the names of three lucky writers to win a free registration for "Stories of Our Lives Featuring Anne Lamott," a virtual workshop on April 5. (You must be present to win).
So, why not celebrate an early Valentine’s Day with the Erma writing community? It’s your chance to face your fears, wear your heart on your sleeve and share your voice with an audience that truly gets it. Join us!
