This incredible event is a panel of three non-fiction picture books - You're A Star, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Because Claudette, and Ida B. Wells: Voice of Truth - that tell the stories of three inspiring women from American history.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought to uphold the rights of women and minorities, first as a lawyer with the ACLU and then as the first Jewish woman to be a Supreme Court Justice;

Claudette Colvin helped spark the Montgomery bus boycotts when she was only a teenager, paving the way for one of the major triumphs of the Civil Rights movement;

And Ida B. Wells was a groundbreaking journalist, activist, educator, business woman, and feminist who helped found the NAACP and refused to let the United States ignore the ongoing oppression of Black Americans.
