How To Talk About Climate Change During a Pandemic

By TPL Programs

Talking about climate change with friends and family can be hard, especially when there's a global pandemic. Talking about climate change is now more important than ever before and can also be an effective way to influence change. Join us for this presentation and open Q&A with Carbon Conversations Toronto to learn how to have a productive and meaningful conversation about climate change with friends and family even during this time. Originated in the UK, the Toronto model of Carbon Conversations aims to create safe spaces for people to express concerns about climate change while gaining tools and resources to help reduce their carbon footprint. Carbon Conversations Toronto helps people work with the complex emotions that make it difficult to act and find renewed motivation.
This virtual presentation is the Live & Online version of Toronto Public Library's Our Fragile Planet program series.
