Civil Forum: MAiD in Canada
By TPLCulture
In this special 30 minute, pre-event forum, the Toronto Public Library invites the public to share their thoughts, questions and personal stories to inform the forthcoming panel event MAiD in Canada on April 8 at 7pm.
Host Dr. Katherine Kortes-Miller, Associate Professor, School of Social Work, and Director of the Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health, Lakehead University (and author of Talking About Death Won’t Kill You) will provide an overview of medical assistance in dying (MAiD) in Canada including a brief summary of the history, the current landscape, and the place of MAiD in end-of- life care in Canada.
Drop-in and share your opinion in this open forum and help shape the dialogue around MAiD in Canada.
