Artist, writer, and oral historian Aanchal Malhotra joins us to discuss her debut novel, The Book of Everlasting Things. In conversation with arts and life reporter Aparita Bhandari.

Following a Hindu perfumer and a Muslim calligrapher, and set against the backdrop of partition, this is the story of two lovers and two nations, split apart by forces beyond their control, yet bound by love and memory.
