When you throw something into the recycling bin, where does it go?
Solid Waste Management Services provides innovative waste management services to residents, businesses and visitors within the City of Toronto, working towards environmental sustainability, promoting waste reduction and diversion, and maintaining a clean city.
This program will discuss the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle – including:
- What happens waste the City collects once it arrives at processing facilities
- Overview of waste sorting considerations and common misconceptions
- Available City resources, services, and programs
Presented by the City of Toronto Solid Waste Management Services' 3Rs Ambassador Volunteer Program.
