THE WAITING book club is free and open to anyone who wants to read the book and join us. This event will be held four weeks after the book’s release on Tuesday, November 12, at 8pm ET/5pm PT. A recording will be made available to any book club member who can’t join us at that time.

Join Michael Connelly and his longtime editor, Asya Muchnick, in an intimate conversation about The Waiting. They’ll have a deep-dive discussion about the writing and editing of the book, the character development, and plot twists. They’ll answer questions from club members and talk about what is coming out next. Those who join will receive exclusive “behind-the-writing” videos, links, and bonus information via email before the event to add to their reading experience. Book club members will be able to send in their questions beforehand.
