Description: This lecture series aims to provide an introduction to those points of the Orthodox Faith which are both foundational and challenged by heterodox critics. The subjects covered will be the same, and in the same order, as laid out in the course text, The Truth of our Faith by Elder Cleopa*, but with additional supporting texts and observations from other Fathers, saints and ecclesiastical writers.

Lesson 3: October 20th: On Holy Tradition
Lesson 4: October 27th: On the Veneration of the Theotokos, Saints and Angels
Lesson 5: November 3rd: On the Veneration of the Holy Relics and Holy Icons
Lesson 6: November 10th: On the Veneration of the Precious Cross and the Sign of the Cross
Lesson 7: November 17th: On Praying for the Reposed
Lesson 8: November 23rd**: On Divine Services, Symbols and On Fasting
Lesson 9: December 1st: On the Presuppositions of our Personal Salvation
Lesson 10: December 8th: On the Second Coming of Christ and On Chiliasm
Lesson 11: December 15th: On the Eternal Torments of Hell
Lesson 12: December 21st**: On "Speaking in Tongues" and On Magic
