ABOUT THE HOST
Bethanne Patrick is a writer, author, and critic whose work appears frequently in The Washington Post, where she is a columnist. She also writes for the LA Times, NPR Books, The Boston Globe, and many others. Patrick's memoir, 'Life B,' will be released by Counterpoint Press in 2022. She lives in Northern Virginia with her family and far too many books. She tweets @TheBookMaven and really wants to know what you're reading.

Kate Tuttle edits the books section for the Boston Globe. She is a judge for the National Book Awards and a past president of the National Book Critics Circle. Her reviews, profiles, and essays have been published by the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, and elsewhere.
