Bethanne Patrick is a writer, author, and critic whose work appears frequently in The Washington Post, where she is a columnist. She also writes for the LA Times, NPR Books, The Boston Globe, and many others. Patrick's memoir, 'Life B,' will be released by Counterpoint Press in 2022. She lives in Northern Virginia with her family and far too many books. She tweets @TheBookMaven and really wants to know what you're reading.

Sarah Coquillat is the bookworm behind Bookish and Black. A health policy researcher by day, she created Bookish and Black to engage with other readers and encourage literary discussion. Sarah is passionate about social justice and reading BIPOC authors.
