"That Sounds Like Jimmie" - Learn a few tunes from the catalogue of America’s Blue Yodeler Jimmie Rodgers as well as some key tools to play Rodgers style guitar. We’ll explore the many reasons why Jimmie’s sound influenced the world of country music and beyond by learning a few choice Jimmie tunes as well as artists who emulated him in the early 30s. Expect to come away with some new approaches to guitar back up, build your repertoire and learn some history as to why Jimmie Rodgers is considered the “Father of Country Music.”
